The study Atelier 8000 of Prague developed within the framework of the international architectural contest Kezmarske Hut a futuristic design concept for a lodge at high altitude: a cube rained from the sky to land on a side of the High Tatra Mountain Slovak.
Leaning on one of its vertices the structure looks like a cube of ice and thanks to the position of the building, three sides of the facade are visible from any point of view, making even more intense the games of light and shadow specially designed by Czech architects.
The exterior facade of the building is made up of square modules of 1x1 m of glass, photovoltaic panels and aluminum to exploit solar energy and make the structure entirely sustainable. The proposal for the interior design is modern and minimalist, and the top floor foresees a meditation room overlooking the breathtaking view.
